Hebrides 2019 - Days 7 & 8

Day 7

Riding to the south of the island was like riding through the middle of a very wet cloud.

I almost killed my phone in the rain storm, so there aren't anymore photos from today. Unfortunately the weather was like this most of the trip, but I guess that makes you appreciate the times it's not raining more.

Day 8

New camp site, further south. This is "Lickisto Blackhouse Camping". https://lickistoblackhousecamping.co.uk/

I chose my pitch poorly - it was fine when I setup camp, but when I took it down in the morning I was nearly eaten alive my midges.

Some of the roads in the Hebrides are just amazing.

Anywhere else, the last one would be considered a cycle path, but here it's a main road. Very little traffic too, but you still get stuck behind a camper van every now and then.
